About Me.
My mother told me that Carmina was the name I chose myself, when I appeared to her in a dream a month after she found out she was pregnant. Storytelling has been with me ever since. And so has photography, because at home there were always cameras around: my father’s and my grandfather’s, both artist in Argentina, where I was born.
My work is a deliberate mix of worlds: I love zigzagging between the intimacy of the body, fashion with its colours and shapes, cultural documentation from my travels, and the surreal worlds that come from writing. I graduated as a creative in advertising and, since then, I’ve been lucky enough to live, travel and work in different parts of the world.
Today I work as a photographer and creative director between Barcelona and the rest of Europe, moving between fashion editorials, portraits, music videos and projects like VÉRTIGO, my boudoir photography brand. My work has been published in independent European magazines, awarded in competitions, and built in collaboration with countless people — always with the same obsession: using light, colour and narrative to tell stories that feel honest, sometimes uncomfortable, but deeply alive.
Let’s work together!
